Prototype: German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) type Sgns 691 four-axle container transport car. Loaded with 3 WoodTainer XXL containers for the Austrian firm Innofreight Speditions GmbH, A-8600 Bruck an der Mur, Austria. High-volume containers for transporting bulk freight not sensitive to moisture. The car and the containers look as they did around 2013. Car number 31 80 455 6 048-5.
Model: This is completely new tooling for a type Sgns 691. The transport car body has a prototypically partially open car floor constructed of metal with striking fish belly style side sills. The car is loaded with 3 removable, containers made of plastic, which are also new tooling. All of the containers include different registration numbers. Length over the buffers approximately 62 cm / 24-3/8". The minimum radius for operation is 1,020 mm / 40-1/8".
