Electric locomotive E.428 of the FS with front bodies (sub-series 097-122), set for the first time in the mid-1960s (era IIIb), with the compressor link still in operation but already equipped with drive wheels with rubber pads ( Fanelli system) and without D'Arbela separator, replaced by the IR.
The wheels of the supporting trolleys have the rim edge in white, as was used at the time to check their condition during overhauls. The model will also be equipped with newly built Type 32 pantographs and an updated electrical system with new sound system.
