In the period 1946-1954, Scandia in Randers delivered a number of two-axle beer carts to the Carlsberg and Tuborg breweries, respectively.
The wagons were private wagons housed in DSB´'s fleet, and they were traditional wooden wagons with a high-positioned brake platform.
With a length above the buffer of 9.26 m, and a wheelbase of 6.0 m, the carriages looked a bit strange, and for the same reason they were often called "the long-legged".
The Tuborg breweries received 35 of these wagons in the period 1946-1954, these wagons received letter ZB, with the numbers 99 616-99 650. The
Carlsberg breweries received 22 wagons in the period 1951-1954, these wagons received letter ZA, with the numbers 99 301-99 322.
In connection with the introduction of UIC numbers, the wagons were renumbered around 1966.
The liters disappeared, and the Tuborg wagons now got the wagon numbers 20 86 081 5 616-650 and the Carlsberg wagons got the numbers 20 86 081 5 001-022.
The long-legged beer wagons gradually disappeared from the late sixties, with the Tuborg wagons first.
The last long-legged Carlsberg wagons were in operation until 1980.

Both the Tuborg and Carlsberg wagons were available in several versions.
At least the first Tuborg wagons were delivered without a "hat", and with "TUBORG BEER" in red, painted on the wagon boxes.
Later, all the Tuborg wagons got a "hat", and the traditional red and white wagon boxes.
A single wagon (ZB 99 629) drove for a period in the late fifties in an alternative paint with green and white wagon body, and with TUBORG in red.
The Carlsberg wagons were delivered with white wagon boxes and Carlsberg written in red.
Later, the inscription was changed so that Carlsberg now stood with the characteristic green color.

In 1949, Scandia delivered a single, largely similar wagon, to the Danish Alcohol Factories (DDSF).
Like the Tuborg wagons, the wagon was given the letter ZB, with the wagon number 99 705.
The wagon was painted gray, with the distillery logo and the letters DDSF in brass affixed on both sides of the doors, on both sides of the wagon.
The wagon was based on Gb, and was sold in 1967 to OHJ, where it ended its days.

The models

The models basically consist of a cast metal base and a car body made of plastic, and are subsequently built up of many loosely manufactured parts in both metal and plastic.
The carriages have, among other things, resilient buffers of brass, handrails of metal wire and a richly detailed braking system.
On the carriages with hat, the tip of the hat is turned of brass.
On the DDSF trolley (McK 3403), the letters DDSF and the distillery logo are cast on the trolley sides, and subsequently printed in gold (brass) and red / white, respectively.
On the models, there was also a difference in the type of bearing (roller or slide), and this is also the case on the models.
