Structural plate: board cladding made of polystyrene, 300 x 150 x 1.0 mm, grid: 0.75 mm.
Polystyrene is a widespread, thermoplastic (thermally deformable) plastic that is very well suited for model construction because it is easy to work with and process. It can be scored very easily with a cutter and simply "broken" at the same point. The individual components can be "cold welded" with the aid of dispersion adhesives.
