AC Version for Märklin System
In early 2005, the leasing company Alpha Trains ordered a series of powerful new multi-system TRAXX electric locos from Bombardier. Some of these locos were never delivered to Alpha Trains and after a couple of years were instead delivered to the continental leasing company Railpool, with their 4 pantographs certified for operation in Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Belgium, as well as the BR High-Speed Line. Loco number BR186 110 was painted in a wildly colorful scheme advertising RAIL MAGAZINE. The new PIKO HO Expert-series models feature tons of details, 4 moveable pantographs, great-running mechanisms and NEM-standard coupler sockets. This 3-Rail AC version is factory-equipped with a multi-protocol decoder.
